Got my new dial scale from Rock-Sea dials, applied it and managed to paint-stain the front of the glass well enough to blend in with other drawer front.

, I guess you could have one of the table leaves photocopied onto onionskin and attach it to the stripped glass with pressure-sensitive adhesive or contact cement, if you could come up with a satisfactory way of redoing the dial scale.
