Good lord, I am thankful for console gaming because the pc base are so entitled, everything has to be 60+ FPS or its "bad" or "looks terrible".
I dont want to imagine how it looks at 720p because it's already not a looker at 900 or so.
I'm geniunely surprised, I didn't expect this game to be received as well as it had. For a better experience, please enable JavaScript in your browser before proceeding. The "movie unlocked mode" seems identical to the movie mode but with a dynamic resolution of 1512p (1920x1512?) Pointing out these flaws is not hate. PC players just have more money to upgrade while console players just like the simplicity of the setups and cheaper cost. Banned. Yeah I’m gonna wait for the PC version. Glad people are helping others. Saw a bit of Max playing this the other night. The game will release for pc in November, Sony already stated that. Why do you think the first one never came to the Xbox?
There has been no official word so far, all info I found took another article as source which it self had no official quote so they were basing themselves in Nioh 1 release schedule, I do believe we will get one some time after DLC3 releases. Still have to play the first game so it will be a while before I get to play this one. Aug 29, 2019 7,850. Can't wait to watch this video later! HotSauceMaven. Nioh 2 is guilty of both, so the decision should've been made to go with Japanese for marketing since they didn't put enough effort into the dub. They probably have a contract for timed exclusivity for several months or maybe until X date after all DLC's have been eleased. Nioh 2 plays like an old gen game on current hardware. Plan to make a guide on it myself.
I have seen more graphically demanding games on base ps4 at 1080p/60 fps than this.
This is the DF topic, not the PS4 OT. Having put a lot of time into both Nioh games, I don't see any big graphical hurdles that force the game to run at 720p on base ps4 for action mode. Yea, 720p sucks, but I'm getting used to it. Banned. KG Modder Website Also right now it’s only on PlayStation so Sony might keep it that way seeing as the new console is going to have higher performance and not only that earlier this year their were a lot of people using save editors on ps4 and joining lobbies and ruining peoples experience by oneshotting bosses, they prolly realize that pc would have a huge problem fixing that. Read a few things now that say its coming to PC in November but dont really trust the sources, just wanted to see if that was true or not.
Multiple performance modes is what every single game on console needs. So IQ wise anything aside action mode on Pro* and native (30 fps) mode on PS4 looks like garbage?
and the same technical concerns.
In "movie mode" the game runs in 1920x1080 at 30fps with the same anti-aliasing as on PS4 Pro. Nothing official so far. There is no need to be a console vs. PC fanboy.

I know the ps4 is a fairly old machine by now, but both this and Nioh 1 aren't exactly very good looking games. Movie Unlocked mode with unlocked framerate 30~60fps. I played the beta on a base PS4 and the game looked rough in action mode. You're so fast, @GamingWithAbyss1!
Also, offering a special counter to many of the previously unblockable/unparryable moves is really smart. Looks like Action Mode is the way to play this on both machines!

But the biggest concern of this mode is the shadows in the interior surfaces, as soon as the specular lighting is intense the shadows appear in low resolution contrary to the rest of the image. Seems visually based of the techniques used here it doesn't look that great on either PS4 or the pro however action mode is the preferred mode of play on either. I really hope we get a PS5 patch for this. Can't wait till next gen, but then it'll happen all over again.
