myself personally i give it a 7. it was not a great movie and it was not intended to be. But, because of poor character development and overall production it falls far short of anything but average.
But what goes Wrong here is some Erratic Storytelling and a Final Shootout that is about as Common as Could Be. To be honest, I think it would be such a disservice if someone saw the movie and went, ‘That’s not how it happens at all.

He arrests hardened criminal Jesse Weiland (Matt Dillon). it is a nicely paced cops and robbers movie with some solid actors in it. I did not like it. Jesse Weiland (Dillon) is a contract killer in Louisana in the early 80's. However, out of the gate I was slightly annoyed by the fake southern accents.

There are various issues. this is a great and entertainment movie, great actors and great locations, the tension is good and its strange that the movie didn't touch the theaters. You know, watching Derek Cianfrance’s movies, like Blue Valentine was a huge influence, or Rob Zombie’s Halloween was a huge influence.
Another movie that has a great cast but isn't a great movie. is it going to be what you expected - no is it going to be a block buster - no. Watch it, this is what films should be,FUPK Hollywood, FUPK block busters, acting is what its about, this film has it in spades, so much people don't even see it. specific type of music was missing from key moments, prolonged moments after many scenes made it look like a B movie, sometimes when a new scene started the actors had a facial expression that should have totally not been there, a couple of dialogs that had nothing to do with anything and also the title of the movie was on another planet in comparison with the action that actually took place.
Even though some of the cast were big back in the day, I still hadn't heard anything about this movie when it was real released so it couldn't have had the major blockbuster treatment. If its not your kind of thing then its just worth watching for the individual performances.
