None are so different that you will hurt yourself as long as you do a good review of the systems and limits prior to flying.

Then again, I only weighed a buck-forty at the time, and my instructor wasn't exactly "corpulent" either. It is more forgiving and a bit easier to fly than the 172 because of weight and speed.
